Yes. Sports Draft Daily uses the exact same rules as any other season-long fantasy sports game, with the only difference being that our games last only a day or a week. In 2006, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act was established and in it there is specific carve out language that states fantasy sports is considered a game of skill, not chance, and therefore received an exemption. There are three specific criteria that need to be met under this law:

1. All prizes and awards offered to winning participants are established and made known to the participants in advance of the game or contest and their value is not determined by the number of participants or the amount of any fees paid by participants.
2. All winning outcomes reflect the relative knowledge and skill of the participants and are determined predominantly by accumulated statistical results of the performance of individuals (athletes in the case of sports events) in multiple real-world sporting or other events.
3. The winning outcomes cannot be based on the final score, point spread, or the performance of any individual athlete in any single real-world sporting event or any other event.

The laws pertaining to fantasy sports vary by which state a participant resides. At this time, the majority of states consider fantasy sports a game of skill and it is therefore completely legal for those residents to play. There are, however, a few states in which the laws are not completely clear, and therefore we cannot offer paid entry games to the residents of the following states: Arizona, Iowa, Louisiana, Maryland, Montana, and Vermont.

The entry fees will range from only a few dollars to several hundred dollars depending on your appetite of play. And the correlating prizes will do the same. There will be plenty of different types of games depending on your interest level.

Just like in season-long fantasy leagues, you will have to pay taxes on your net winnings. We are required to issue a 1099 tax form to all players who have a net profit in excess of $600 for any calendar year.

In the event a game is not completely filled by the start of the entry deadline, then all entries in that game are voided and the entry fees will be returned to the users accounts. The one exception to this is the large field tournaments, where the contest and prize pool are typically guaranteed, regardless of the number of entrants. You will see a "G" symbol next to certain games that signify them being guaranteed to launch regardless of the number of entries.

Yes. You are allowed to come back and edit your lineup as often as you wish prior to the start time deadline for that game.

Our player database and salaries for the NFL games lock each Tuesday. This is done so that users signing up either early or late in the week have no advantage. The information will remain static once they appear on the Lobby. There will be certain times when players are not available due to this feature.

You can withdraw your money at any time.

If you used PayPal to make deposits then you can withdraw into the same PayPal account. All withdrawal requests will be processed within 48 hours or the next business day if the request is received over the weekend. We may perform additional checks if the PayPal account is not one you have deposited from.

If you don't have a PayPal account we will process your withdrawal by check and you should submit a ticket detailing the amount you wish to withdraw and your mailing address.

For withdrawals of $250 or more we may request that you provide your mailing address and SSN before the withdrawal is processed - this helps in the event that your annual net winnings may exceed $600 and we are required to file a 1099-MISC tax form.

We conduct anti-fraud checks on playing patterns and deposits prior to processing all withdrawals so may request additional information before you withdrawal is approved.
